Blavet Valley Lakes is a family run business owned by Gordon and Berny Dawson. Our first Carp Fishing season here was very successful and nearly everyone that came has already rebooked for next year. The Carp Fishing Lake in Brittany Our 8 acre carp fishing lake in Brittany was originally excavated for sand and gravel in the early 1960s to a depth of 6 - 12 ft with varying contours i.e. gravel bars and areas of sand and silt with no weed, also no Poisson Chat or Cray Fish. There are plenty of overhanging trees and foliage that create excellent margin fishing. There are 14 swims (including 3 double swims) with a maximum of 8 anglers (we can accommodate larger parties if required). To make life easier you can drive and park your car next to your swim at the carp lake Views of our Carp Fishing Lake in Brittany Stock in our Brittany Carp Fishing Lake The Carp fishing lake was originally stocked as an all round fishery and we know that included quite a few carp over 15 years ago. Since then we have introduced a further 172 top quality Carp - mirrors to 53lbs and commons to 38lbs, this being our stock from our previous Carp fishing lake in Brittany. We have subsequently added a further 100 carp to the lake. In February 2007 we added a further 18 Carp: 1x Mirror Carp 50+lbs, 5x Mirror Carp 40-48lbs, 1x Common Carp 41lbs, 12 Mirror Carp 30+lbs. We stock our own boilies specially made by Mainline at realistic prices. Also available is our own proven particle and ground bait method mix and pellets. We have no objection to the use of bait boats on our Carp Fishing Lake in Brittany. BREAKFAST A complete full English breakfast will be served if desired or a choice of other options less filling will be made available. LUNCH A scrumptious freshly made baguette of your choice will be brought to you at your swim for a small charge if required. DINNER A delicious 2 course evening meal ( a copy available upon request ) will be served with a cold beer or a glass of wine - the choice is yours. SUPPER If ordered before 10pm for a small charge we offer beef burgers, hot dogs and bacon baguettes brought to your swim. We have a selection of confectionary, snacks and drinks always available on site at reasonable prices.
