Here at Creuse Carp we offer three lakes covering 14 acres in the middle of a 75 acre estate, we have a beautiful 4 bedroom stone cottage within casting distance of two of the lakes and can offer a variety of fishing holidays at very competitive prices:-
Option1: Gite de Peche including 1 acre Lac de Cerf stocked with carp and other coarse fish.

Option2: Gite de Peche including 2.5 acre Lac d’hibou stocked with carp to 20 lbs +
This is the closest lake to the gite and is perfect for the carpiste to indulge in evening and night fishing while the family are safe and secure nearby. We find that the children love our llamas and alpacas see more at www.llamatrekking.fr
Option3: Gite de Peche including access to the 10 acre Lac de le Gane au Rey, stocked with Royales, Commons and Amur to 40lbs+. Also in the lake is a 70 lb catfish and we have a bottle of champagne cooling for the first person to catch him.

Fly or Drive and survive is of course available and is limited to 5 anglers giving at least two acres of water to fish so no overcrowding here, also at the lake are toilet facilities and a fully equipped angling lodge at the lakeside.

Having fished several lakes in france this one is the best by far.stocked three years ago with royal carp to 47lb that have not been caught ,i have seen three different fish well into the 50lb bracket in the snags.
The lake record is just over 40lb with most of the fish still uncaught and in pristine condition,these fish fight hard very hard!!
The lake is tooth shaped surrounded by trees and snags with depths from 3ft/26ft deep.Spring fed by 2 streams and drained every Autum to rid of any silt build up,generally speaken the lake bed is hard and stoney,sum silt areas.
I have caught carp from all over the lake especially the margins and in 8ft of open water using standard fishing rigs,bait wise any good bait will work even shelf life baits,arificial baits work well over a bed of pellet or chopped boiles with added goodies.
Toilets and cooking hut close to lake,the owners are very friendly and will help you enjoy your stay and if you bring the family there is lots to do in and around the area.

There are also 2 smaller lakes with different species of fish on the private estate for the younger angler to learn and tune his/her fishing skills.Lots of wildlife on the estate to observe while you fish and of a nite you can here the WILD BOAR grunting in the fields behind you,dont worry they wont bother you,truely wild fishing!
