Lac Diable - French Carp Lake
In the heart of the Limousin, just 20 minutes from Limoges lies this pretty 5 acre lake. Stocked with over 2 tons of prime fighting carp up to 45lbs and a single cat, Cruella DeVil, of 70lbs+
Our aim at Lac Diable is to give you the best fishing experience possible.
The lake is situated close to Limoges giving easy access by road, rail and plane.
The nearby market town of St Leonard de Noblat offers a range of provision including tackle shop and several supermarkets. For those reluctant to leave the lakeside for any length of time within a 5 minute drive there is the closest thing you can find to a corner store in France, selling cold beer, bread etc. However with our inclusive package there is very little reason to leave the lakeside.
From £250 per person per week, our competetive package includes a full English breakfast and evening meal.
Exclusive lake use for up to four anglers.
Showers and toilets on site.
Purpose built swims.
The lake has been managed and stocked over the past two years with the sole purpose of giving you the best fishing conditions possible in maximum comfort.

fished this magnificent lake twice in the past 3 yrs and the lake is fantastic colin is a top person and knows every inch of the water breakfasts are terrific and evening meals just as good nothing is to much trouble and colin makes you feel welcome, best lake ive ever fished and if you dont catch over 30 fish in a week your doing something wrong as me and keiran have had over 200 fish in two visits thanx for the great experiences colin
Fished this lovely lake last week of Jan 08 with two mates, 35 fish in total with 6 over 30lb topping at 34lb, 21 over 20lb with 13 being high twenties and 8 high teens, had good action through most of the day although it was slower during the colder nights. The owner Colin was onhand all week giving us advice and sorting us out with bait nothing seemed to much trouble which made a welcome change.
Food was great especially the breakfast.
Going back in August and really looking forward to it, top week thanks Colin.
Me and my brother had fished the long bank hoilday weekend in march of this year 2008,the lake is idealic with beautiful surroundings,we ended up with 30 fish in total 4 fish were over 30lb, 22 were over 20lb most of them were mid twentys, 4 were high teens 18lb,18lb,18.5lb and 19lb the biggest was 35lb which came last knockings on the last day of the trip.food was great and the owner/bailiff was on hand 24hrs a day and in all the weekend was brillant and we will definately coming back in fact we have now booked up for the end of august for a week.cheers colin for a geat weekend.
