Le Lac Fishabil
The main lake at Le Lac Fishabil has 55 swims on four banks with approximately 65 acres of water.
The lake has two main areas to fish, the west bank that is about 20 acres in size and the north/east bank.
Fishing to the middle of the lake from this area gives about 45 acres.
All the swims are topped with tree bark to a depth of 1ft.
It is predominately a silty lake with soft clay, gravel and hard patches.
Depths are from 3ft at the top end to 8ft at the Dam Wall.
There are 8 boats available on the main lake, all are of top quality with oars, anchors and life belts.
There are jetties and mooring points for the boats to make them easier to use.
The 4 banks on lac fishabil offer diverse types of fishing, from Lily pads/snags/ to long distance to margin fishing; there is something here for all anglers.
50 Tons plus of carp & catfish
Up to 200 carp and more from 40lb 67lb, and aprox 500 to 600 carp over 30lb with aprox 1000 carp over 20lb mark.
There are many catfish over 100lb mark the biggest three landed are 156lb/172lb/182lb,220lb .with an estimated 100 cats between 70 to 100lb mark and about 200 cats between 20 to 70lb, Aprox.
100 known grass carp to 60lb.
There are also blue carp up to 100lb quantity unknown and 5 ghost carp up to 44lb.
Plus 30 hard fighting Sturgan to 38lb, Lac Fishabil also contains bream to 17lb, black bass, pike to 38lb zander to 28lb roach to 4lb rudd, perch to 4lb and tench to14lb making it one of Europe's best specimen fishery whatever your choice of fishing

I visited lac fishabil for the first time this year and what a lake!! My first impressions were wow this is a beautiful place. I had booked on an organised trip so food was taken care of and so was the traveling. I set up on the damn wall and had so much water to fish i was spoilt. The fishing was spot on i did get through the bait but that may have been due to landing 26 fish up to 43lb with 2 cats to 122lb!!.Ian starmer runs this complex and runs it well the food is outstanding as are the showers and toilets. i didn't see inside the appartments you can rent but what perfect holiday with the miss's. All in all the fishing is amazing the food was outstanding and the business couldn't be run any better well done to the fishabil lads see you soon!!!!!!......
