French Carp Lake for sale

Raynbow End lake is a natural, tranquil 3 acre lake nestling in 6 acres of private, beautiful woodland. We're located in the historic and charming village of Meautis and are easy to get to from the ferry ports at Cherbourg, Caen and Le Harve.

Although it is not a deep lake (deepest point 5ft) it is fed by underground springs which make it an ideal home for carp. The lake was tested by an independent fishery expert in September 2007 and was found to be in superb condition including PH levels, etc. The lake has a silt bed with gravel and sand margins which again is perfect for carp. All this is reflected in the quality condition and healthiness of our fish! The lake also benefits from fully maintained grounds and totally revamped swims.

We are currently an all bivvy lake. There is a well maintained toilet on site. There is running water and we can also supply bottled drinking water.

 We are planning to build log cabin accommodation in the coming months, so we'll be able to offer a perfect family holiday venue as well as continued great fishing experiences. So whilst the non-anglers go for a bike ride on our hire bikes throughout the beautiful french countryside that normandy offers you can fish without distraction!

Planning permission has been applied for and verbally accepted for a 2 bed log cabin on lake side inc facilities also for 4 single open plan log cabins on field side with toilet and shower block details of plans ect will be supplied on approval with artist impression.
